This is your daily action


In this role you will report into the Manager International Payroll & Support. Your focus will be on the countries were we still have an outsourced payroll. You will be managing payroll data collection and overseeing the outsourced payroll provider, who is responsible for processing the payments. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate data collection, overseeing risk and process control, and conducting regular audits to maintain compliance and accuracy.

Collaborating closely with the outsourced payroll provider, you'll ensure smooth communication and efficient payroll processing. Join us in this important role and contribute to the seamless operation of our payroll activities.

Our HR Shared Service Center is a constituent part of a large HR organization within Action serving the headquarters and our country offices (payroll and personnel administration). The department consists of three teams: Payroll and Support, HR Information Systems, and HR Administration. We are currently looking for candidates to join our growing Payroll team and be part of large-scale cross-border transformations. This is you


You have proven experience with establishing, implementation and maintenance of appropriate internal payroll controls, operating processes, policies and procedures. To act as an advisor you can critically review and analyze payroll procedures and provide expertise for payroll insourcing program across countries. You help anticipate legislation amendments regarding taxation, social security, insurances, and closely collaborate with payroll coordinators, business analysts and other stakeholders involved. As a payroll professional you naturally pragmatic and have an eye for details while executing the plan and keeping up with the deadlines. Your energy is constantly nurtured by the dynamics of payroll processes and contribution to the team’s success. 

You also have the following:

  • at least 1 year of experience in a similar role 
  • expertise in Payroll and HR systems (e.g. SAP (Employee Central Payroll), Kronos, ADP, SD Worx, etc) 
  • advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
